I need to get my Pakistani documents notarized from Pakistan embassy in KSA, but embassy attests documents which are already stamped/attested by Ministry of Foreign affairs of Pakistan. As I ve some docs which are not already attested by MOFA Pakistan , so I am thinking of sending my docs. to my brother in Pakistan for attestation.Kindly advise should my brother get the documents notarized only by the local notarizing authorities in Pakistan OR first he should get them notarized from Ministry of foreign affairs n then by the local authorities.I need to know tht is there any requirement by CIC about notarization of docs necessarily by the ministry of foreign affairs or only the notarization by the local authorities will be sufficent.Experts advice are needed in this regard.thanks

You don't need to notarize the documents from Embassy of Pakistan, you need to go to any notary public where you are living and notarize them from him. There is no need of stamp from Ministry of foreign affairs, at a later stage, if CIC feels it is necessary, they will ask you copy of your transcripts in a university sealed envelop.

If they are other then educational documents, then you need to notarize from the notray public in your city instead of embassy.

thanks very much New yorker. Can u or any one provide me CIC link regarding list of designations, authorized for notarization of docs.?
regards
Any notary Public appointed by Government or registered to the government can do this, if you do not have notaries, you need to find out who certifies the documents.

You need to certify all copies you sent to CIC to be on the safe side. This will allow them to make decision on your file faster instead requesting you notarized copies.

Find a notary public (any) in your town, take all originals to him and notarized all copies and then send to CIC.

you can get your documents attested as TRUE COPY only, they will not attest but they can put stamp of True Copy after looking at the original documents, that all you need to do.

Take care.
