I am from Delhi, India and applied online for non SDS study permit, on June 7th. My medical exam was passed on July 31st, and here's my entire timeline.
Applied: 7 June
Biometric completed: 11 June
1st Acknowledgement: 21 June
2nd Acknowledgement: 5 July
3rd Acknowledgement: 17 July
Passed medical results: July 31
Anyway, I know of a friend who's visa was rejected before she even got called for the medical examination, reason being they thought she would stay in Canada till even after her studies were completed. I wanted to know if medical examination is the final step of the application, and whether people could still be rejected after passing it? Also, roughly how long does it take after the medical examination for the visa to be issued? I am worried because my term starts from 1st September and have still not received my visa. Kindly share your own experiences here.
EDIT: My visa was just approved today, on 2nd August! It seems like it doesn't take long, once you have passed your medical exam, for the visa to be approved.
