Is medical required again for Spousal Sponsorship?

Dear Members,

I came through Express Entry (Status: Married, Non-Accompanying) and landed here in Apr 2016. I want to sponsor my wife now. Me and my wife both had their medical done on 25th July 2015.

- Is it required to get her medical done again or the same can be used for the sponsorship file?
- For how much time the medicals are good?

medicals are good for 12 months. You can apply for your spouse sponsorship and submit the same old medical. However, if they are not able to process your wife's PR before the initial medical expires. They will ask her to do a re-medical.
