So a friend of mine is in Canada on Work Permit. His wife is arriving in a couple of days on a dependent visa.
She isn't able to find her marriage certificate as of now and I guess it will take at least a few weeks for her to get a copy of the same from her country's government office.
When she had applied for her dependent visa, she'd submitted her marriage certificate though. So, I guess that the required validation would have been done when the visa was issued.
Does she still needs to have her marriage certificate on her when she arrives in Canada? Shouldn't the dependent visa be enough for the Canada immigration guys to let her in?
