My employer is tying the Global Talent Stream to bring me over quicker. In this, they don't need an LMIA but need to submit something called Labour Market Benefit Plan. From their side it seems like a pretty decent option to acquire foreign talents quicker.
I wanted to ask how is it for the employee ? I am only interested to move to Canada if it helps me getting a PR else country-hopping is a big hassle.
1. So I was wondering does this LMBP also come with an LMIA-ish number that I can plug into the EE profile for where it asks about having a valid job offer from a Canadian employer with an LMIA conducted ? Or is it something with which the employer benefits but useless to the employee if they want to register for FSW with a valid job offer ?
2. As a side question, if say I had another offer with proper LMIA done and I chose to relocate to Canada by taking up that offer, does it still count as having a valid job offer after say 6 months into the job ? Because in a way I have already consumed the job offer and am working for the organisation, so is it only considered to be a job offer before I accept it and only CEC can be applied for after a year after I accept it, OR, it's still considered a valid job offer if I'm in Canada and already working for that employer ?
Thanks,
