Hey guys,

Still awaiting for AIP.

My semester starts on 2nd September, what do you guys advise ?
Yes. Start the online classes. They will count for PGWP as long as you have applied for a study permit even if you haven't received an AIP yet.

And we are seeing record approval rate this season, if you want to increase your chances for approval I think you should not defer.

I'm thinking of the same as well to start the classes.

I might raise up a webform telling them the situation that my classes are gonna start soon

Nothing is 100% even with an approved study permit and even with a trv. At least with an email stating your application has gone through first stage which includes always your financial proofs, the obligatory forms, the letter of offer of admission, you know a human has looked at your application and found at first glance no adverse Information and had no adverse opinions.

It's such a difficult decision, I don't envy you.

My daughter's university allows classes to start online on 9 September, though she can only do 60% online, she has to 22 September to pay fees or drop out without having to pay. She's going to start the 60% online to see if it's feasible. Not all colleges will have this setup though.
