Is it true they're only allowing landing in the week at Niagara Falls?

I did not understand your question. Are you asking if you are allowed to land only in Niagara falls during weekdays?

I landed at Queenston - Lewiston border on Monday (June 5th 2017).

Yes, you can't land outside of the falls, if so they deport you
