There are many good colleges in India where you can study entrepreneurship, why you are going to George Brown? There are many good colleges in India which are better than GB.
I'm totally agrees with you, but on following reasons I would like to purse my 8 moths course in Canada.
1. I'm from Gujarat and course is not available locally where I lived. So obviously I have to go far from my family to get education. So why don't abroad?
2. it's 2 years course in India ( I don't have that much time) coz have enough with studies. Need to establish my business soon.
3. Course structure in Canada - which suits me very well- I'm trying to start my business from last 1 & half year while I was in UK - but even though having business background I wasn't able to start my business due to lack of practical knowledge how to start business - of course there are consultancy who can helps us but I want to do by my self.
4. On successful competing of this course & presenting successful business model ( which I already have) they provide me up to $15000 financial aid to my business & two years of mentoring in my business.
5. Eduction systems in Canada & India - I have done my bacholer from one of this best university in Gujarat - but most of them focus on metrial basis education and no proper foundation & no practical knowledge ( May be there are some good university but it's hard to get admission due to our quota & donation system)
6. As far as GBC Concern, had good review about college, I have made contact to profession & director of this program- according to them, this is very intense course which not only provides you all basis knowledge but also enough opportunities to contact with recent new entrepreneurs around Core of the cities.
7. Fees are more compare in Canada compare to India( my business idea need to be evaluate in international market as well indian market due to globalization so some investment in doing so won't hurt future )
Hopefully this explains my point of views ...
