Is it safe to work on expiry date of my PGWP?

Hi guys,

My visa is expiring on May 16, the date said on my visa as Expiry Date.
Does this mean that my work permit is valid until May 16 so safe to work, or I can only work until May 15?

Sounds like a dumb question, but wanted to confirm as I need to tell my employer when my last day will be.

Did you apply BOWP? Or work permit extension If so, you can work until you get the result which called implied status.

No BOWP, I am applying for visitor visa so need to stop working.

Just wanted to confirm if I can work on expiry date.
