Is it safe to travel outside of Canada for me?

Hello, I'm holding a closed work permit and Worker visa. Valid till 2020

But I left my job and I'm unemployed in Canada.

I have to travel outside of Canada. Can I come back without problems with the border agents?

You will be asked about your employment, and as such it is unlikely the border agent would admit you into Canada if you are no longer working.

Hi there, when you hold an immigration document, as you do, it is usually ok then to travel outside Canada and return. You should though have a good reason why you are not working at the moment, but if so you can explain what happened and say that you made this trip now so you can start looking for a new job, which is actually what you should do.
