I have submitted an application for Permanent Residency (PR) through the Express Entry system, and I have achieved a score of 548 to enter the pool. Currently, I am employed as a postdoctoral researcher at McGill University, where I have been working for the past three years. Recently, I received a job offer to extend my postdoctoral position at McGill for an additional year.
When I applied for PR, I indicated that I had received a job offer from within Quebec, which awarded me an additional 50 points. However, I am considering the possibility of working remotely for the majority of my responsibilities, as I have received offers from outside of Quebec. This decision stems from the need to maintain the appearance of intending to leave Montreal promptly if selected for PR.
Given this scenario, I am seeking guidance on whether this approach is viable for my PR application.
