Hi i am a canadian PR holder and ive got married last year in India... Ive applied for his sponsarship in August 2015 and file transferred to New Delhi on Oct 8th 2015 and started processing from Oct 30th 2015.. Since than everytime i check the cic website for any updates nothing shows but Medical papers recieved .. So my question is would it take 15-17 months for him to get here ?

Probably not. You can check on the New Delhi thread to see about how long people are taking from that office.

It will take that long if you're a red flag case, otherwise it will be much faster than 15 months.

As far as I know, the processing time is the estimated 80th percentile. In other words, 80% of cases will take less than 17 months, and only if you're in the unlucky 20% or your case is deemed to be suspicious in some way, will it take longer than 17 months.

Anecdotal evidence suggests than many outland spousal sponsorship cases take far less time than that. The 17 month figure is pretty conservative.
