I'm planning to apply for Open work permit extension along with my husband's WP extension which is expiring in sept 30th,2011.
My husband's LMO is in process and his employer decided to send the application so that they can later inform the CIC team about LMO decision.
I will continue to work under implied status until Nov 20th,2011 and thereby take my maternity leave and pregnancy leave .
In worst cases, if my open work permit gets rejected by Dec 2011, I would still be on unpaid maternity leave.
I might apply for visitor visa in the worse case.
We also applied our PR under CEC on aug 2011 and we got our AOR in sept 2011.
But is it legal to be on pregnancy leave when something goes wrong with my WorkPermit application ?
will my PR application be of any help ?
Or should i quit my full time job atleast by Nov 2011 ?????
