Is it legal for a PR to work remotely from Canada of an Indian organisation ?

Hi,

I am moving to Toronto as PR in Oct 2016 and my current Indian employer wants me to work from Canada remotely for 2 months while I remain active in India on India payroll. Even though they have their offices in Canada but they don't want me to transfer to Canada for 2 months. My role in an internal role and there are no client interactions.

Is it legal to work remotely for an Indian company from Canada? Will it anyway affect my PR status?

How about if I start working part time as well in Canada while working remotely for Indian company ? Will it then affect my PR status? is it legal?

How about the Taxation thing?

It wont affect your PR status and there is no law against it. As for the taxation, you become tax resident in Canada when you settle so you should declare your overseas income after that as world income.
