Hi all,,

I have recieved ITA on 11th jan.

Just collecting all the necessay documents.

My question is that i have two qualifications ... b pharma and PG diploma in heath management and i m working in NOC 4212 as a supervisor in disability.
My reference letters completly match the NOC duties and have all the mandatory imformation.

these jobs are not directly relates with bachelor of pharmacy but surely with diploma.

Would it suffice the requirmemts of EE??

Thanks

Relating Qualification with NOC is not required and isn't the intention of CIC either.

The answer is "It depends." Generally, there is no requirement that they are directly related, but it has to make sense - if you claim to be working as an engineer with a degree in accounting, that's not going to fly. if iIf you work in a regulated occupation, the education must be related.

But if you work in business, sales, IT, the arts, etc. generally the education requirements are very flexible.

For your NOC, your education is quite relevant and sufficient. No worries.

Thanks,,,,,

Thats where i am confused becuase i have claimed point for bachelor of pharmacy as a proffesional degree.

Thats equivalent to masters ,,, and now i realize if the experience is not relevent to occupation .. than it might be a problem.

Very, very late to the game here really.

My spouse's foreign work is listed in his work history (no points). It's for 2146 (engineer). He's had his ECA from WES. Now he would need to get a license to work in Canada with this but as he isn't the primary applicant (so not declaring his intended work in Canada), I don't have to worry about getting the license for the EE app.. riiiiiiight??......

The ECA is education only. So for example, I have a Bach of Science in Aviation and my pilots licence. I would only get the degree assessed for Express Entry.

However to be employable, I would need my licence converted, but that is totally on me and not a requirement for immigration purposes.

Make sense?

LOL, right. There is no requirement to be licensed in Canada for EE application purposes (unless s/he's claiming it as Canadian work experience, and the license is an absolute requirement).
