What's your local office? Try to find out from others here in that same local office what the approximate time frame is for getting the test. It can be over two years in some of the slower offices, even for routine applications.
GCMS notes won't tell you anything if your application is still considered routine. You can phone the call centre and ask them if your application is considered routine at this point or not. But if you haven't gotten an RQ or some other request from CIC yet, its probably routine.
