you may find upto 300 not very hard. and may be could find less than that. check the following link and find out the prices.

You will be able to find something in the $300 to $500 range.

You can find shared accommodation as cheap as 250/mon. However, the living space is then shared.

Basically 4 people share a 1 BR flat ($1000) so the rent is also less. There is one bedroom and one living room and two live in each room.

If you want an individual single room, then 500 (shared bathrom and kitchen) to 700 (independent bathroom, shared kitchec) is good amount.

If you search more, you can find a bachelor's apartment in 700+ as well.

But remember, lease is a big problem here and you cannot leave the house before the lease expires. You can sublet though but that is also difficult at times.
