Is it easy / hard for a PR candidate to find a respectable Software Engineering job in Canada?

I have a work experience of 3+ years as a full stack software developer in India. I am planning to apply for the Canadian Express Entry program. My CRS score is about 440 and will be applying through PNP. I have no Canadian connection and i am on my own. I wanted to know that how hard / easy will it be for me to find a job in my desired profile (Software Engineer) once i get a PR and land in Canada. This is the only worry which is bothering me and want assistance for the same so that i can make up my mind and continue with the rest of the process.

Also I had come across some really worrying stories that Canadian experience is a real road blocker when it comes to finding a job in Canada and that one has to compromise in the job profile and quality of work when it comes to applying for jobs.

Eagerly waiting for the responses so that i get an idea whether to continue or not.

It's a lot easier for Software Developers to find work than say Engineers, Lawyers, HR personnel—basically, jobs that require familiarity with Canadian rules and regulations. In your case, it doesn't really matter if you have Canadian experience if you can get work done. If you're good at what you do and move a city with demand for Software Engineers (like Toronto), you should be fine!

I would encourage you to take a look at the type of software stack in demand on LinkedIn.

I am full stack developer too, It is easier for developers to get jobs, as our jobs is almost similar in all situations.

I have read that a lot of developers have been able to secure good jobs in less than 15-20 days from when they landed.

Does not having Canadian work experience matter alot?

Is the quality of work for software developers at par with something like USA or even India ? The quality of work i do in India as a developer is at par with my expectation , my only reason for trying to immigrate is better standard of living. So does one have to compromise for the standard of work once he is in Canada and applying for the same profile as mine?

Quality of work can have different meanings. Are we talking about how advanced companies here are or is it compensation that you're referring to?

Canada is pretty good in the technology and startup scene. The bar is very close to the US and certainly higher than India, but you gotta keep in mind that Canada is a much smaller country in terms of population, so opportunities will always be less and will be located in certain areas. I live in Toronto, so I can only speak for the city in terms of demand for software engineers.

Employers here will evaluate you based on your skills and it would be very rare that you're dismissed just because you lack Canadian experience—simply because it doesn't really matter for software engineers in most cases. Your biggest challenge is competing with other talented people. As long as you have a PR, you're given an equal chance like everyone one else who has a Canadian passport, so don't worry too much about that. Just keep getting better at what you do and see what the market is demanding.

Finally, I would say that for you to compromise on what you may already have in mind, it would probably be a result of your expectations not matching your skillset. For example, you may think that you can work at Amazon, but you really aren't that good, so you would have to accept a position at a smaller company. Again, this is just an example. Compromise in your case is only going to be based on skill and nothing else.

Are you currently in Canada ? If yes can you please share any success story that would indeed motivate me and other software engineers who are thinking of applying for Express Entry Program.
My friends keep telling me how XYZ person got a good job in the IT sector after moving to Canada, but, then that is all hearsay.

However, I can personally vouch for two people, whom I know personally.
One was a senior python developer and was able to secure a job in Canada in about 20 days after moving, with a good package. (~90,000 per annum), but, then again, he was already a senior developer.
Second got a job of around 60K per annum, in about a month, he's a junior to mid front-end developer.
