Is it allowed to write outside the given field space on application form?

In the guide there is the following note :
If you need more space for any section, use an extra sheet of paper and indicate the number and/or letter of the section you are completing and submit it along with your application
Before completing the application read the guide it could help you.

If you type it on a computer, you can also remove the file protection and reduce the font size. Some fields are having limited characters.
