Hey guys,
This is for Federal Skilled Worker.
So, in the app guide, it says 550$ for me and 550$ for my wife, but in the CIC website and in the credit card payment platform it says it is 475$ for me and 550$ for my wife. What would be the correct amount? I just don't want to get my application returned because of it.
Also, I have this other question regarding the credit card payments. You see, I sent an application about a year ago, and... it got lost. Nobody knows if they lost it in their office or it got lost when they replied, they said they replied, but I never received anything. There was a bank draft inside that envelope which is also lost but not cashed, and to refund that amount, there is a very long bank process involved since I don't live in Canada which is where my bank account is.
So I was thinking in paying this time with credit card through their new platform. However, what happens if they deny my application? can I get my payment back?... with a draft you can get the little paper back, go to the bank and get your money refunded, but with a credit card payment, I don't know if that's possible.
What would be the best way to make the payment considering my application got lost once?
Thanks a lot for your time!
