Dear Members,

If I go through Quebec Immigration program, then is it essential to stay in Quebec for 1 to 2 years or can I move out from the state, in case I receive employment opportunities from other states. Please suggest as my total CRS points are 370 and I am thinking of PNP route to enter Canada, but is unsure of the clause of mandatory stay.

There are no states in Canada, only provinces and territories.

Under Canada’s Charter every resident has freedom of movement. However, the Quebec program is designed to attract people who genuinely intend to reside in Quebec. If you want to live in Ontario and are simply using Quebec as a gateway, you would be misrepresenting your intent to Quebec and Federal immigration officials, which is both dishonest and can potentially be problematic.

Don't believe the people here, after you get your PR you can move with zero problems and live anywhere. I like how some people are against it and calling it dishonest but unless any of you have never lied before, better keep your hypocritical opinions to yourselves.

I say do what you gotta do for a better life, some people here were born in curtain circumstances or made early life decisions that made it easy for them to immigrate here, doesn't make them deserve it more. We all want a better life, so apply for Quebec get your CSQ, and PR and if you still don't like move out to Ontario or wherever, however, if you like it stay. Don't let these people scare you.

Quebec, just so you know attracts and accepts the lowest and worst type of immigrants, so I'm pretty it's easier to get the CSQ. If you just go through the forums you will see a very good sample of what I mean, and I live in this Province so I know it pretty well.

Good luck!!!
