My father and mother is my sponsor...both have them a TIN certificate..Is ther any thing xtra ralated INCOME TAX???

hi . Income tax returns are a vital document which evidences the income of sponsors is sufficient to support the education of child. Btw ..whats your nationality. In india , the tax number is called pan number , which is quoted on income tax returns. So the tin number in your country must be quoted on tax returns .


My opinion is is in non expert category and i am student like you.

It varies with country. Post which country you are from and someone from your nationality might help.

OK so you are from BD. You don't need to show tax files. Just show TIN/TAX certificate (both if applicable). People do mess up what is what so I am posting a link to understand what is what:

TAX Certificate:

People holding business have TIN certificate and TAX certificate while job holders holds TAX certificate only.

I don't think he hold any TIN certificate; it should be TAX certificate. TIN certificate is for business holders.

What does your offer letter says? Does it only states that you have been admitted to Utp stage I (I am guessing its of 1 year or so) or does it say that you have been admitted to a full time program but you will need to complete your utp before that? It all depends on your offer letter and the amount of time written on that.

Its written that stg 1 is for 1 yrs bt if i get more than 70% in ma ist semister i will be admitted to ist yr of UNI...total estimated tym is 5 yrs(mentioned in ma offer letter)

Then apply for the study permit. I am pretty sure that they will only give u a year permit and after successfully fulfilling the condition, you can extend it afterwards.
