Is GIC Account mandatory for university students

hii, i want to ask that is it mandatory for me to open a GIC account.i know the other option is a bank loan.Can i show my own funding without loan also in the form of liquid money.
I have heard that either i should open a GIC account or take a bank loan. Is there a third option available like showing your own funds.

The answer is NO there is no other way. IF you want to secure your visas you need the GIC and/or the bank loan.

1. Yes, you can show sufficient liquid funds to pay for your tuition and living expenses. You don't require a GIC or Loan.
