is future date is possible on IMM 5740 form?

Sir, I applied my visa through agent and he send me my IMM 5740 (07-2023) E GCMS letter today.I think agent is trying to scam me be today is April 23,2024 and the Date on letter is May 24, 2024.
Is it possible if the date on IMM 5740 is for future?
and Is there any way I can verify it?
