is first week of Aug. too late for a NOC 1112 application?

Hi all, I won't have a complete application until the first week of Aug. I heard that 1112 is one of the hotest NOC category. Anyone have idea what's the status on 1112? I saw only 100+ received applicatin on cic website and visagamble website.

My current job assistant investment manager in fixed income for a mutual fund company, I fit some of the duties from 1113, but not as closely as I fit 1112.

Any advice here?should I still try for 1112 or change to 1113 all together...

I think yes...1112 is the hottest noc so better look for 1114 or 0112
