Is fee refund possible after getting unconditional offer letter from college?

Hi all,
As an international student, I got unconditional offer letter from a private college in Toronto, after paying 2500 CAD, for PG diploma for Jan 2011 intake.

Now I am not interested in joining the course.

Can I ask for the refund of the fee I paid?

The consultant, through whom I applied to this college, says that it is not possible to ask for refund and he says that I can only defer the date of joining.

Please suggest me.

consultant have little knowledge of refund policy .....
they are bound to refund it provided that you provide them visa rejection letter.

in your case ,since you don't intend to commence your course their,

You must contact them and tell them for some family problem i can't travel leaving my family in the need of hour.

now college will deduct their admin fee and return the rest of the amount.

BTW , please find time to read your college refund policies.....

yup buddy it is possible...just go read their refund policy..they only gona chage you few dollars..best of luck
