Is Contract Employment considered in CEC?

Hi folks,

Two questions:

1. I worked in two jobs in past year or so. Both these jobs were full-time contract jobs. I am still working in the second contract. I recently complete the full-time hourly requirement for CEC.

Is the contract employment accepted in CEC? My first contract's experience letter clearly states that i was a full-time contract employee over the said period.

2. After my first contract i left Canada for 3 months before starting my second contract. At this point i have full-time work hours but this experience was gained in 1 year 3 months. Will this experience still count as 1 year towards CEC?

Thank you!

You should be fine. Having a letter from each employer stating your duties and the amount of hours you worked will be helpful too :)

Yes

yes (assuming you are applying under the post-graduate stream).

Just be sure that you worked
- a minimum of 12 full months (52 weeks)
- a minimum of 1950 hours
