I am in Vancouver since mid feb on a work permit. I have an ITA for fsw and collecting docs to apply. Do I have to get Canada police clearance certificate as well? I am hearing differing opinions from others about this, pls advise

Not needed. CIC will tell you if and when you need to get one after you submit documents post ITA.

Although on their site they are saying no but I did it to make sure the application does not take time after submitting. It took 2 weeks for the CRC to arrive.
