Is bank account really required even if you are sponsored?

PLS help im a newbie. and this is my first time to apply for that and i dont want to denied. Is that really required? my bf is in canada.he will sponsoring me for everything.so my question is do i really need to have a bank account? i dont have a work

No, you don't need a bank account.

Regardless you need to show money at your disposal BEFORE arriving to Canada.

How are you going to show you got money without a bank account, I don't know, but if you can go ahead.

OH thats a relief that i dont really need that. Yes i know that i need to show them money. uhm it will be put in the letter of invitation that my bf will provide me everything. by the way what do u think is the best reason why will i go there to visit my bf that the visa officer will not think that im not gonna leave lol im sorry i dont have any idea. thanksss

It will be difficult to be approved if you can't show any ties to your home country. You should be able to show something that demonstrates you have strong ties to your home country: a bank account, a job, property you own, etc.

No, that won't work. You need money BEFORE entering Canada.

Also as Scylla said, you need to show ties it is not only about money.

Oh maybe u misunderstand my reply "thats a relief that i dont need that" By the way im pointing there about the bank account coz u said that it is okay that i dont have that, and yes im going to show them money before i arrived,its on the airport right? and i mean that My bf will give me money to show them before entering coz he will provide me everything including that money that im going to show before i enter.



And about the ties i find a way. We have a family business its furniture shop then next week im going to get a business certificate saying that that is mine. DTI- this is the term here.
