Dear all, and seniors,

Have a friend who intends to apply for FSW 1 thru Sydney (Plumber). He is currently under apprenticeship (2nd year). Is apprenticeship recognized as work experience? He will probably be asked to submit notarized employment contract. If he provides Apprenticeship contrat will this be ok? Also, will he have to notarized it? About the payslip, he unfortunately can't provide. Since the apprentices salary is maintenance and allowances only( Not big salary while under apprenticeship)... Pls your suggestions and explantions are welcome!
Thx

PLZ INFORM, BY THE WAY, FORGOT TO SAY: work during morning thru apprenticeship, and go to school in the evening

In my view, apprenticeship will come under Education and not work experience.
The certificate/diploma you get after Apprenticeship will be awarded points under the Education criterion.
I might be wrong, so let's see how others see it.

The apprenticeship is the training required for the job, as BobbyB says it is part of the education and is really not work experience as fully qualified tradesman.
