Is applying for temporary work permit easier then getting a job in Canada?

Hello everyone,

I have given my IELTS thrice already. I'm falling short of 0.5 points due to which my score is 405. If I score CLB 9 my score will shoot to 450 (which right now is of no use due to high draw but I'm positive that PNP might come to rescue)

My question is that is applying for temporary work permit easier than waiting for a company to offer me to a full-time job? (which is next to impossible)

If yes, what is the procedure? - I mean do I need to have a offer letter here as well just like while applying for full-time?

Any one who can help me understand the requisite of applying for a temp work visa while waiting for the PR? It will be very helpful. Thanks.

P.S. My IELTS score in the last attempt has been
L:7.5
W:7
S: 8
R: 8

I just hope this time I get CLB 9. Awaiting result. Please pray for me

For a temporary work permit, you will need a job offer supported by LMIA. No shortcuts, I'm afraid.
