I just called a potential employer and she told me that might be the case.
I graduated from a BC university, I'm on a PGWP, and I was considering moving to Alberta to apply for the AINP General EE stream.
My employer told me about a case she saw last year where a worker who was on a PGWP had to re-apply for an LMIA because apparently
international Canadian post-secondary grads who didn't attend an Alberta institution are blocked from applying to the AINP EE?
So supposedly, they had to apply for AOS instead, which is only for graduates from Alberta institutions.
Is this true? And if so, is this a temporary measure that has been lifted at this time?
Any insight would be great!
Thanks
