Will it be easy to come to Canada with a degree (in Engineering- he was studying it but did not like it or finish it) to study to be a pilot?
He wants to come here and work and study to be a pilot.
I have a College that will accept him does it matter if he has a degree or not?
His family in the UK were saying that the UK and Canada are similar and that he will not get a Visa.

it depends on the course you choose, if the requirement of pilot training course is a degree in engineering/science, whatever then he has to have a degree....there is no other choice

BUT if the program he will choose doesn't require a degree to enter then he doesn't need to worry, he will get through with this as long as he can show he has enough funds to pay for his course fee and support his study in Canada.

I know a German guy who is in Canada studying to be a pilot. He did not have any qualifications when he came, young guy. You have to be accepted to a school and apply for a student visa and show that you can pay. I'm sure you can study to be a pilot in Germany as well.
