Hi i am an irish guy who has been In Canada since Nov 2008 , i arrived here with my partner just to visit and holiday but after the global recession crisis, got stuck here and have been dealing with an immigration lawyer since,i have 95% of the paperwork submitted for a common law partner visa and await police clearance forms and also i have to do a medical...is there any other option for me as i will be unable to work here until my file is processed and even then its not guaranteed...what can i do? My lawyer refuses to talk with me until i clear up my latest installment and i am in need of help... if i leave canada to process from ireland will my overstay here affect my application? Whats the fastest and best way i can do this as i am at my wits end, financially drained and not been able to work...my partner is in college and finishes Dec 2010...we will be together 2 yrs in june
