IRCC Yearly Processing

Hi Everyone - cannot remember where but in one thread I saw that IRCC has a yearly quota and they may not process applications when the quota is over.

This does not sound believable. Any thoughts?

Unlikely.

Even if it existed in the past, is will not be the case anymore. There is a huge backlog and IRCC would be rushing to get back to normalcy, especially with the announcement about Ukrainian refugees and the increase in overall projections for the next three years.

Unless they have first hand info from IRCC, any talk of quota is likely to come from slow moving applications.
