Hi, I went for my confirmation of PR today at Etobicoke but the agent said I cannot be landed because my police clearance expired on the 9th of march. She said I have to wait for their Missisauga office to write me, who else has gone through this and how long does it take? I wonder why they did not book me before its expiration and why they went ahead to book me for 15th when they know I wont be granted PR status.

What country was the PCC from? This sounds weird...my PCC had expired at least 6 months before I landed and I had no issues.
I suspect that the IRCC officer has made an error. I would be tempted to order the GCMS notes immediately, so that you have a reference to what is going on. Secondly, wait for a response from IRCC.
Hi Zardoz, how do I order the GCMS notes? I called my lawyer yesterday and she said in her 20 years of practice she has never seen or heard of a person denied landing after completion of all processing by IRCC due to a document that expired days to landing.
My lawyer was very surprised too, I guess it was the agent I met who felt she couldn't land me.
