IRCC PORTAL VS GCKEY which do you prefer and why? For visitors

I have been reading and searching about Canada visa for quite some time and I found out the two options we can use to apply for visitors visa. Do you recommend one over the other and what is the reason? Thank you

IRCC Portal is much easier to use and Processing times are usually quicker compared to GC Key. However, based on the trends, there seems to be a larger chunk of applications being rejected from the IRCC Portal.

Your selection should depend on your file. If you have a good travel history, no previous visa rejections, strong financial background and strong ties to home country, go with the IRCC Portal.

Remember that the comments above are based on the trend we have been saying with files of various members on this forum. In the end, we are all at the mercy of the officer who can approve/reject any application for any reason! Good luck!
