I just called the IRCC phone line to check my status over their phone service and it said 'We regret to inform you that you are no longer eligible. Please log into your account for more information' but when I log into my account nothing has changed. Last I spoke with an actual agent was earlier today and they said Eligibility, Medical and Biometrics were passed but backgrounds had not yet started. She also said that my BOWP had completed all the necessary steps and was just awaiting a final decision from the agent, which I should see in the next few days.

Has anyone ever experienced this before? Could it be an error because my original visa expired today?
