Exactly my situation. I have written to both IQAS and CES, and CES did respond with the following email
"Unfortunately, CES cannot tell you in advance whether your credential/institution is recognized, or the equivalency of your credential. This is part of the assessment service that we offer to our clients. However, as stated in our previous response, any academic credentials earned from academic post-secondary or secondary institutions are typically eligible for our services. Unfortunately, CES cannot make any guarantees prior to receiving and reviewing academic documents."
I called them up as well and got pretty much the same response. However, they said they can assess it but she cant commit on the outcome or whether it will be recognised or not.
They just want the transcripts in a sealed and stamped envelope sent to them directly by the university along with the diploma.
Let me know if you have any info on any other ECA bodies.
