Dear friends,

Is it necessary that each schools going kid should have his own ipad or laptop ! My kids will go to grades 9, 6 and 4 inshAllah. I have only one laptop at home. Would it be sufficient to meet their academic needs or I need to have more. My point is that if such devices remain under extensive use of the kids for their assignments, then i should buy some from here and carry them along while going. I have noticed that in Canada prices for laptops are bit higher. Please advise, I am going from Saudi to canada. Thanks

My kids don't need to bring their own iPad and laptop to school. In fact, some schools will provide them at the beginning of school. Your kid might need to his/her own calculator to school.

You may need to buy your ninth grader a scientific calculator but a laptop or a tablet are not required.

Also, laptops/tablets in Canada are much cheaper than in the Middle East. There are always plenty of sales and deals available.

thanks for the advises guys
