Inviting parents for convocation

Hello pals,

I am about to finish my master's degree and my convocation is scheduled in April. I want to invite my parents in my graduation ceremony. My study permit will expire in March. I will apply for Postgraduate work permit (PGWP) in February. So I was wondering if I can invite my parents before getting PGWP or should I wait until getting my PGWP?

Your parent's TRV will depend mostly on their own financial position, their ties to their home country and travel history to companies like the UK, Australia, US, etc. Would suggest the apply in January.

Thank you so much for your suggestion. So I don't need to wait until my PGWP get approved to invite them, right? and yes they do have good financial status.
