Inviting my boyfriend in my graduation

Hey there,
I am an international student here in Canada and am in TRV. I want to invite my boyfriend to Canada in my graduation. he will be applying as a visitor. We are planning to get married in Ontario after the visa approval. Had someone been through the same situation? Plz do share your experience.

To be approved for a visitor visa, he will need to show that he has strong ties to his home country and has no plans on remaining in Canada long term. He will also need to demonstrate that he has enough money to pay for his trip to Canada. It will help if he has previously traveled to countries requiring visas such as the US and UK.

I have a quick question..
He is a student in my (home country) Nepal. luckily, he will have his graduation after mine. could that be the proof of returning to Nepal / will it be the appropriate reason to get back to Nepal for him?
