Hi,
I am pregnant and the baby is due on Jan 2013. I want to invite my mom to Canada on a Temporary Resident visa to help me take care of the newborn. My concerns regarding the TR visa application process are as follows:

1. Do we require to provide confirmation of air tickets or travel itinerary?

2. Do we need to provide medical insurance for my mom during her stay?

3. Since she is widow and not working, what ties to the home country can she provide? She does not have a son and my sister is still in my home country. She has a house on rent for income and she is volunteering in a healthcare organization. Are these sufficient ties to prove that she will return after her visa expires?

4. As a proof of our income, do we need to provide just the pay slips or we need to attach original letter from the employer stating our title, job description and salary?

Please note that I am not applying for super visa application, it is for a temporary resident visa (tourist visa).

No

No, but is recommended

She can provide the property tax notice of her dwelling and investment property, and letter from that healthcare organization. If she is not owning her place of residence, provide the rental agreement. Make sure everything is in English.

4. As a proof of our income, do we need to provide just the pay slips or we need to attach original letter from the employer stating our title, job description and salary?

You can provide the notice of assessment from CRA

Please note that I am not applying for super visa application, it is for a temporary resident visa (tourist visa).

Thanks Steaky,

Regarding my income, since I did not have job in 2011 and it's only been 2 months since I have been working, I do not have CRA assessment. So what would be the best thing to do?

Thanks
