Invitation received but work permit expired

Hello...I had received invitation for PR under canadian experience class(CEC), but unfortunately my work permit expired. I already applied for restoration under new public policy to extend PGWP. My question is that can I leave Canada currently before any decision is made on my application?? Can I give my biometrics from outside canada?

If you leave Canada, your PGWP restoration application is cancelled as you are supposed to remain in Canada while waiting for approval. You can give your biometrics outside Canada if the offices are open and you are prioritized to give them.
