Dear all:
Is it essentional to determine the date of intery and exit in the invitation letter??
Or it is sufficient to just mention the invitee persion want to stay in canada for 2 weaks??
Then the persion reserve flight ticket.
Because i had resive my invetation letter and it is stumped
I want to now if it is not make any difference i just book flight ticket
And do not change the invetation letter to determain the dates of intery and exit date.
Thank you inadvance

Hello, Bizhan! This is what is written on CIC website:

You must include this information about the person you are inviting:
  • complete name,
  • date of birth,
  • address and telephone number,
  • your relationship to the person,
  • the purpose of the trip,
  • how long the person plans to stay in Canada,
  • where the person will stay, and how he or she will pay for things, and
  • when the person plans to leave Canada.
I think there will be no harm if you have just mentioned 2 weeks because the dates on the reserved flight tickets will inform the visa officer when the person plans to enter and leave Canada :)
