Hiya!
I am a graduate student in Canada and is in middle of preparing documents required for my husband's open work permit. I have prepared an invitation letter. Since I am not super fantastic at writing and have no clue what to and what not to mention in this letter, PLEASE help me by proof reading this letter. I am getting nervous day by day as I hear stories of OWP being rejected. I don't wanna stay away from my hubby.
Any comments and suggestions for improvement are most welcome.
A huge thanks!

Dear XXX,
You will be pleased to know that my PhD Graduate Program at the University of XXX has been extended up to December 2013. I have recently filed in an application for extension of my Study Permit (expiring September 2012) until December 31, 2013. This will give me sufficient time to wrap up the research work, publish one or two good quality scientific papers and write thesis before I start applying for jobs in India. Wouldn’t it be amazing if I spend this remaining time in Canada with you? I believe it will also be a golden opportunity for you to gain some work experience in international markets.
Therefore, I sincerely invite you to join me in Canada. I have been living in XXX, for more than two years now and have got a very good idea about the living cost and expenses here. I am renting a beautiful apartment here and have recently purchased a Toyota Corolla to make life smoother in harsh Canadian winters. I am pretty confident that my income from Graduate Student Scholarship and Off-campus part-time job is sufficient enough for both of us to live a healthy and happy life here in XXX.
Following is the some information about me (as may be required by the visa officer).
• I am a Graduate Student in Canada staying at XXX (copy of electricity and internet bill attached).
• I am staying alone.
• I am a full-time PhD student at the University of XXX (Letter of Acceptance, copies of transcript and Study Permit attached).
• I am working for XXX as a XXX on an off-campus work permit (Letter of Employment and Off-campus Work Permit attached).
• I am confirming that I will support all expenses of yours including your stay, food, medical, insurance, travel etc. (proof of funds from the University, copies of T4A, T4, a recent pay stub, and Income Tax Assessment Notice 2010 attached).
• I have sufficient fund to support your expenses (Letter from bank attached).
