I applied in 2015
Csq 2017 August
AOR 2018 February
My current federal status :in process...
How about you?when is your AOR?
Any news about MR?
Which is your VISA OFFICE ?
Did you received AOR from your local visa office also ?

How I understand is that this would affect negatively to those still not obtaining CSQ but could actually be positive for those already with CSQ as the Quebec govt can only control the CSQ issuance prcoess but not the federal PR visa process.

I have my very serious doubts here. I have a feeling we (post csq) are in for delays ..
The catch is the new government is not only decreasing the issuance of new CSQS but also decreasing the admission of PR’s to the province .
Pls understand They have a plan of admitting 3200 Pr people this year 2019under Quebec business class as compared to 5000+++ in previous years (and still had massive backlogs and never ending waiting times )
That being said the annual intake remains same at 1900 +60+50.
So annual intake of 2100 applications and assuming family of 4 , ie 8400 people add to it the backlog and the figures and waiting times look gigantic
The processing times will increase substantially and may decrease gradually, (but not in the near future )
As a result people at post csq stage will also have an impact and should expect further delays
Can someone confirm this from lawyer or consultant and inform their views or any more authentic clarification if someoyhas pls ??
Dear Ash1969 no have news for me Still my file no update and ( not started ) all step ,,, and for my Lawyer she said not effect our application no have relations with our step .
