Hello,

I am on a Post Graduate Work Permit and would like to apply for the Permanent Residency (it is valid for 3 years from now). I got a job offer of an Investment Advisor with a well know Financial Firm under the securities department so it is all dealing with bonds, stocks, mutual funds, RRSPs etc... (different than a financial advisor where its mostly insurance products and mutual funds). It is however COMMISSION only and could be labelled as self employed, but technically I am an employee of the firm after all. Would that count towards my 1 year requirement towards the Express Entry program? Please advice.

Thanks,

Hi Do you have offer letter and any payslips to prove that you are employed? If so you should be fine.
