Currently I am working with a UK based Remittance Company’s Bangladesh Branch office as an Executive Director. Now the Company has opened his branch office in Toronto and I have been asked for transferring to Toronto Branch for business promotion and infrastructure development of Toronto Branch.

I have my Canada ‘Business visitor Visa’ which will be expired in April’2021.

a) Is it possible to move Canada with the said visa and then apply for Temporary Work Permit Visa within Canada under Intra Company Transfer?

b) Can I work within Canada without work permit Visa?

c) Do I need Work Permit Visa to enter into Canada?

d) What are the ultimate procedures please let me know.

1. Yes but you could be refused entry or only be limited to a certain amount of time.
2. Not in your situation because your company does business in Canada.

1) No. The visa you hold now only allows you to visit Canada temporarily and only for very limited activities. You cannot move here using this visa and should expect problems at the border if you try.
b) No. The ICT needs to be approved before you can work in Canada.
c) You can enter on your business visa but only temporarily and only on the conditions of the business visa. However again, you cannot move here using this visa and you cannot work here in your new role.
d) Your company needs to apply for an ICT and that ICT needs to be approved before you move to Canada.
