Intra Company Transfer to Canada with Spouse on USA Green Card

I have an employee who is interested in a promotion to Vancouver, BC through an Intra Company Transfer. He is a USA citizen but his wife is a Chinese Citizen with a Green Card. Would there be any issues for her in regards to losing her green card if they move to Vancouver and live there for 2-5 years?

Would it be difficult for her to get a work permit in Canada given her current Chinese Citizen Status and Green Card in the USA?
